PlanarGROW range of Thermal CVD h-BN 2D Growth Systems, have a flexible approach to the growth of h-BN
Planartech, now over 50 systems worldwide, have installations with the key research institutions.
The planargrowth-2S-BN thermal CVD system design is a horizontal reaction tube with gas inputs, temperature control, gas flow, vacuum and pressure, writable recipe and process storage, controlled with labview allowing remote access.

The standard h-BN system, planarGROW-2S-BN, which acts as our base design providing a foundation for our customers to add their specific requirements.

The standard system can be customized to the user’s specific application requirements. h-BN can be grown from either liquid borazine or solid ammonia borane, and this system supports both precursors. In addition, the system supports dual process use for both h-BN and graphene.
Flexibility of the system design to accommodate our customers is proving to be of great benefit, allowing researchers to request additional functionalities such as:
  • liquid borazine
  • solid ammonia borane.
  • Single reaction tube.
  • Dual reaction tube.
  • Supports Graphene and TMD growth.

The Desktop coater is a plug and play system incorporating turbo-molecular vacuum pump allowing thin film evaporator for vacuum deposition applications.

The DTT triple evaporation source selection is ideal for deposition of multilayers or alloys.

The DTT, with integral turbo pumping reaches pressure quickly allowing the coating process to commence in a matter of minutes. It is ideal for research, laboratory and product applications

Desk Carbon Coater is a compact carbon fiber coating system suitable for sample preparation for the use in scanning electron microscope (SEM), Transmission electron microscope (TEM) and X-Ray analysis (EDX).

This device is available in two formats:

DCR is a rotary-pumped carbon coater that is suitable for SEM sample preparation, EDS/WDS and thin film applications.
DCT is a turbo-pumped carbon coater that is ideal for FE-SEM, EDS/WDS, TEM, EBSD and thin film applications.

This high vacuum coater offers high quality uniform carbon films with fine grain sizes which are suitable for specimens that require high resolution and high quality characterization.

PLD – T is a high vacuum thin film deposition system enables to deposit different materials by both Pulsed Laser Deposition and thermal evaporation technique.

It can deposit complex materials and crystalline structures onto substrates with very little setup involved. Pulsed Laser Deposition technique leads to efficient, none-thermal ablation and preserves the stoichiometry of the target materials. By applying this method it could deposit materials such as nitrides, oxides, super lattices, polymers, composites.

Desktop SEM/TEM Sputter and Carbon Coater DSR1

Sample preparation using sputter coating is the recognised method for non-conductive and low conductive specimens or samples.
Vac Techniche DSR1 has been developed to exceed the requirements for SEM/TEM sample preparation.
The compact and easy to use sputter coater, has the option of using existing pumps or supplied with a pump.
For external pumping the on board computer controls the pump or pumping rig.
Larger samples can be accommodated with our increase vacuum chamber DSR-L and DST-L system
For applications where Turbo pumping is required, the DST has integral Turbo vacuum pump with options of standard or larger vacuum vessels to accommodate most sample and specimen sizes.
The Vac Techniche Desktop Sputter Coater enables thin film sputter coating of noble metals: gold (Au), palladium (Pd), platinum (Pt) and gold/palladium (Au/Pd) on non-conductive or poorly conductive samples or devices.
Our board computer integration makes the Desktop Sputter coater an ideal laboratory and research tool for scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and Transmission electron microscopy analysis(TEM).
One of the benefits of our DSR1 design is the rapid pump-down time making it a production tool in addition to a research instrument, for applications such as optical coatings
Thin films are deposited in a with fine control producing repeatable results when used in Automatic mode.
